Purchase order award simulator

A procurement app wants to award a sample purchase order. VeriProof applies rules the procurement team set outside the app before the order proceeds.

How the simulation works

The website proposes approval. VeriProof checks the rules.

  1. The website simulates the agent

Every prepared scenario starts with the website acting as an AI agent and proposing approval.

  2. VeriProof enforces the business rules

VeriProof checks the proposed approval against the rules prepared for this demo.

  3. The website applies the result

VeriProof returns one of five outcomes: Allow, Warn, Transform, Escalate, or Deny. The website applies that outcome to the simulated action.

In a real integration, your application applies VeriProof's result before the proposed action proceeds.

Change scenario details

The procurement app proposes to award this order.

Supplier screening found a denied-party match. VeriProof stops the proposed $95,000 award.

The procurement app's own checks

The sample app checks order value and supplier quality. VeriProof then checks the proposed award.

  • Send orders above $100,000 to a category manager.
  • Propose awards of $100,000 or less when supplier quality is at least 3.5.
  • For orders up to $100,000, reject quality ratings below 3.0; send ratings from 3.0 to below 3.5 for review.
  • Leave supplier screening and budget checks to VeriProof.

The procurement rules VeriProof enforces

The procurement team sets these sample thresholds. VeriProof checks them before an award proceeds.

  • Stop an award to a supplier with a denied-party match.
  • Stop an award that exceeds the remaining budget.
  • Require review for single-source awards of $50,000 or more, or regional concentration of at least 60%.
