Benefits eligibility simulator

An eligibility app wants to decide a sample benefits case. VeriProof checks the determination against agency safeguards before it takes effect.

How the simulation works

The website proposes approval. VeriProof checks the rules.

  1. The website simulates the agent

Every prepared scenario starts with the website acting as an AI agent and proposing approval.

  2. VeriProof enforces the business rules

VeriProof checks the proposed approval against the rules prepared for this demo.

  3. The website applies the result

VeriProof returns one of five outcomes: Allow, Warn, Transform, Escalate, or Deny. The website applies that outcome to the simulated action.

In a real integration, your application applies VeriProof's result before the proposed action proceeds.

Choose a scenario

The benefits case

Each sample determination ends differently. Pick one, or change the eligibility facts below.

Sample applicant
Avery Johnson, denied during appeal
Benefits program
Childcare subsidy
Household size
2 people
Monthly household income
$3,940 per month
Required documents are complete
Yes
Change scenario details

The eligibility app proposes to make an eligibility determination from the program income limit.

The app denies the childcare case, but VeriProof stops the adverse action because the earlier appeal is still pending and no reason code is present.

Records created in this public demo can be seen by other visitors, so use the sample data rather than your own.

The eligibility app's own checks

The app proposes a result from a complete file and a sample income limit. Its initial check omits appeal and residency safeguards.

  • Propose approval when the file is complete and income is at or below the sample limit.
  • Send an incomplete file to a caseworker; propose denial when income exceeds the limit.
  • Use $2,180 for one-person nutrition assistance or $2,500 for the other sample programs. Add $400 for each additional household member.

The agency rules VeriProof enforces

The proposed result reaches the policy check before it proceeds. These are demonstration rules, not eligibility law.

  • Stop a denial without a reason code or while an appeal is pending.
  • Require caseworker review for a denial up to 10% above the sample income limit.
  • Require review for an approval with unverified residency.
  • Return a monitoring warning for a disability-support determination.
Review the details saved with each run

A saved run connects the sample case facts, proposed result, and policy decision. Check its save status before opening the evidence.
